The root cause that led me to have 4 nose surgeries up to now. A doctor who took a plaster cast of my face and said it was a surgical method where the silicone to be inserted was custom-made, so he guaranteed there would be no problem. He said the custom-made silicone would have about 3 to 4 holes made in it, and when it was inserted into the nose, flesh would grow into them, so it was a well-supported and safe method.
Was he not a doctor? Did he not know that a capsule would form???
Within one year, the entire silicone implant shifted position, and anyone could see that the silicone had been inserted incorrectly, but when I went to him and told him about my concern, he brazenly turned a blind eye. After that, I had consultations at other hospitals and told him I had heard that making holes in silicone was not good, and he showed me a phrase of exactly 3 lines inside some old, thick paper, saying he was right.
I didn’t know back then. That not every doctor has surgical technique or solidly built skill.
Thinking about it now, he was trying to prove his pathetically shallow skill with just a few lines from a paper.
Back then, even after seeing the silicone that had completely shifted to the left, he told me that I just needed to press it in the opposite direction, as if sharing some brilliant method. Those eyes, sharp as frost, I still cannot forget them even 20 years later.
Every now and then, the memory comes back to me like trauma. And you there, are you living without trouble?
