I kept hearing people around me say that I should get my implants checked from time to time. In communities too, The W was mentioned a lot for implant checkups, and it was close to my workplace, so I finally made up my mind, booked an appointment, and went in for an examination. The hospital is a one-person breast-specialized surgery clinic, so it felt private, and there was almost no waiting time. Honestly, I was more in the mindset of “It’ll probably be fine, right?” than worried. But the test result… I was diagnosed with a rupture in my right breast I hadn’t had any pain or discomfort at all, so I really didn’t expect it, and the moment I heard the result, I felt so anxious and worried that I got choked up. Still, what was fortunate was that the director and the consultant calmly explained how serious the rupture was, whether it was immediately dangerous, and what direction revision surgery would take, so I felt much more at ease. They didn’t just say it was okay; they explained it based on accurate evidence, so I trusted them even more. And they reconfirmed it once more with an AI program. The AI report also showed the same right-sided rupture, so it was really good that I could make a clear judgment without confusion. Having it checked twice helped my anxiety settle down a lot. For now, I’m considering whether to have revision surgery or remove the implants altogether, and I’m planning to discuss it with my husband and decide on a surgery date. I’m nervous, but… I feel like this is a place I can trust and leave it to them, so I feel much more at ease than I did at first.
