If I had to say the best thing I did this year, it was getting my mom upper eyelid surgery! Before the surgery, my mom didn’t just have an appearance-related issue; her sagging skin was so severe that she had a really hard time opening and closing her eyes, and her field of vision was obstructed, to the point that it was difficult for her to go anywhere. Near the outer corners of her eyes, the skin would rub against itself and get chafed.. My mom was struggling so much that daily life was difficult for her, so this time I had her get upper eyelid surgery at ㄹㅇㅈ(ㅣㅔㄴㅏㅇ). Thankfully, it’s been about 2 weeks since the surgery and she’s recovering well. She doesn’t look harsh, the vision issues she used to feel uncomfortable about are now much better, and since there’s no sagging skin, there’s no chafing at all!! Her overall impression has become clearer too, and because she used to have trouble securing her field of vision, she would frown, which apparently made her first impression seem bad to others, but now that’s gone too! As her child, I felt so proud I think it was a good decision to have the surgery done for her!
