Review of PR incisional double-eyelid surgery that I like more and more over time

I had monolids and a wide upper eyelid area, so I used double-eyelid tape, and I often felt uncomfortable opening my eyes in daily life, so I ended up getting surgery. To briefly describe my preoperative condition, the issues were thick upper eyelids, eyes that looked stuffy, and not much of the dark part of my eyes showing when I opened them. So when I went to consultations, I think I always emphasized and asked about the concerns I had. After going to a few consultations, the directors recommended the incisional method. People around me said that if you get incisional surgery, you get scars and a sausage-like line, so I was very worried at first, but after going around for consultations, I searched again about incisional double-eyelid surgery. It seemed that, more than I expected, the line could look neat without much scarring and actually have good fixation. I decided on PR, which I liked the most among the places I visited, and I think the surgery turned out satisfactorily. The swelling and bruising felt quite intense for about 2 weeks, but after that they steadily went down little by little. At first my eyes looked a bit too intense, and opening and closing them felt stiff, but now I’ve gotten used to it without those issues. Since opening my eyes has become comfortable and better, I naturally stopped frowning. So maybe it looks more relaxed to other people too? As the stuffy-looking eye shape disappeared, my eyes also got bigger, and I like that the inner corners of my eyes, which had been covered by epicanthal folds in the front, opened up after surgery, making my eyes look longer horizontally. I don’t have a lot of surgery experience, so I can’t compare it with other things, but I feel like I chose the right hospital because Director Noh Kyung-hwan paid attention so that it could be successful both functionally and aesthetically.
