Eye Surgery Reviews

It has been 2 months since my second lateral canthoplasty restoration!

About 4 years ago, when I had double eyelid surgery again, I also had lateral canthoplasty done. It wasn't so severe that it looked obviously strange, but my dry eyes and redness became so bad that I could barely wear contact lenses. After much thought, about 2 years ago I had lateral canthoplasty restoration again. The surgery was not a failure and it improved somewhat, but the director at the clinic where I had surgery said it still had not attached enough and that I would need to do it one more time. But having sleep anesthesia again felt a bit burdensome.. So I went to Siseon Plastic Surgery, which I had been considering when I had my first surgery. Just like when I first went for a consultation, I really liked how confident the doctor was. I had consultations at many other clinics too, but when I talked about functional issues rather than aesthetic aspects, everyone reacted by saying they could not guarantee whether it would improve. But the director at Siseon confidently said it would get better and that everyone else had improved too. Also, they are famous for restoration and have many patients! So after 2 years, I decided to have my second surgery at Siseon. The surgery proceeded smoothly, and I think the eye shape after surgery has also settled beautifully. There was still a little scar tissue left, so they gave me an injection, and after the injection it seems to have improved even more~!! (They provide really thorough aftercare!!) Even now it is not severe, but they said the scar will improve after a few more months, so I am spending each day looking forward to it! My dry eyes also seem to have improved a lot, so I have been wearing contact lenses a lot after surgery and am regaining my confidence. (I don't take selfies often, so the only pre-op photos I have are with makeup + app filters. Please take that into account when viewing!)
