Hi? I’ve always just been lurking, but now that I’ve finally graduated from revision eyelid surgery, I wanted to write a review. The surgery was done with a natural incision, and the price was seriously enormous for revision surgery... I was lucky to get it a little cheaper through an acquaintance discount, but honestly, if my eyes turn out well, I’d pay anything... though after time passes, I do feel like revision is more stressful than the first surgery, and a second revision is more stressful than revision surgery First, I won’t disclose the clinic. If you’re curious later, please ask me..! (Since everyone perceives things differently, the clinic I chose might not be right for someone else..!) The way I chose the clinic was by elimination: 1. Does the doctor have at least a certain level of experience? 2. Is it a place that specializes in revision eyelid surgery? 3. How far is it from my home? 4. Does the doctor personally conduct the consultation? 5. Price... But after looking into revision surgery clinics, honestly the prices were all pretty similar Anyway, after searching online and visiting clinics in person, I eliminated the places that didn’t meet my standards. In the end, I had consultations one more time at the three remaining places that were hard to decide between, and then made my choice. This method isn’t necessarily the right answer! It was just my way of doing it, and I think it would be good for everyone to think, “Oh, someone chose a clinic this way too~” Honestly, it is a lot of legwork....... Anyway, since the place where I ultimately had surgery was one I liked, I’ll explain it briefly: 1. More than 20 years of experience 2. It was a private clinic, so the director personally did the consultation 3. They perform three surgeries a day -> so it took time after the consultation to schedule surgery For number 2, they really continued the consultation until I stopped asking questions, so they examined everything very thoroughly. For number 3, honestly, it was hard waiting from the consultation until the surgery date, but I felt like the director had their own philosophy, so if I got impatient or greedy here, it felt like I’d be headed for a second revision, so I think I endured a lot. After surgery, I think I fought with myself hundreds of times? I really wanted to meet my friends and hang out, go outside and get some fresh air, and eat whatever I wanted, but when I saw people here who were getting revision surgery or thinking about it, many said they couldn’t hold back from things they should have avoided and ended up getting revision surgery again. So I looked up everything the clinic told me about reducing swelling, foods good for bruising, and things like that, and I think I spent every day checking one by one what I shouldn’t do. Now I’m at one month, and the swelling and bruising seem to be going down faster than I expected. Once the stitches were removed, they went down even faster. The line is also settling the way I wanted...! Anyway, thank you for reading this long post up to here. What I want to say is that when choosing a clinic, you really need to have your own clear standards so you won’t regret it later..! Everyone getting revision surgery, and everyone having their first surgery this time, let’s all have successful surgeries and find our prettiness:)
