I wanted to correct my hump nose and receding chin, so I had implant-free nose surgery and chin-tip facial contouring surgery at RU Plastic Surgery. Now it’s been 1 month since my facial contouring and rhinoplasty, so a lot of the swelling has gone down. It really hurt when the stitches were removed, but afterward the inside of my nose became so comfortable. My nose was already high to begin with, so I was worried that if the nasal tip was raised, my nostrils would look pointed, but it looks similar to my original shape, so I really like it! For my chin, there’s no visible external scar, and now it’s much more comfortable when I eat. They said the scar under my nose will become much lighter around the 3-month mark! I ended up having surgery because of my droopy nose and hump nose, and I think the nasal tip position and shape improved well. But I don’t think the hump was corrected perfectly. Still, since I was aiming for a natural look rather than something artificial, compared with before surgery, it looks natural and definitely different. I’m so happy that I won’t have to feel stressed about my side profile when taking photos anymore!! For my nose, I did not use autologous costal cartilage; septal cartilage was used!!
