Because of heat sensation and pain in my nose, plus slight contracture symptoms, I ended up booking surgery for full removal. At first, I agonized a lot over whether to remove only the silicone and keep the nasal tip cartilage, but I was worried that if I removed only the silicone for no reason, I might have to open it up again, so I decided on full removal. But my original nose was extremely low, so I am worried. Still, since it has been 11 years since the surgery, I am also weirdly trying to think positively and hoping the so-called “third nose” people talk about will appear lol. Knowing my personality, after removal I feel like I might look in the mirror and spiral mentally, but removal is the only option…
