After a lower eyelid revision surgery I impulsively had 1.5 years ago, my lower eye area turned outward, making daily life incredibly inconvenient. My eyes stung, were bloodshot, itchy.. I survived on eye drops every day and went for a consultation. I was recommended a cross-graft procedure that would cut skin from the remaining upper-eye area and transplant it to the lower eye. The surgery is too big, and I already don't have enough upper-eye fat to even do another double-eyelid revision, so using skin grafting from the upper eye feels way too risky. It feels like I’d gain one thing and lose several others.. I think the lower eye area would be restored well, but I’m scared of other side effects, so I passed.
