I had lower canthoplasty, double-eyelid surgery, and ptosis correction here more than ten years ago when I didn’t know much. One side of the lower canthoplasty was too excessive, so functionally I have dry eye, and cosmetically my eyes look uneven. Now that I’m older, the dry eye has gotten worse, so I’m looking into reconstruction/restoration for the lower canthoplasty on one eye. Since right after surgery, when I woke up at night, only that eye would be dry and stiff, and when the wind blew, it felt like wind was getting into that eye and making it sting. I felt uneasy about this place from the time of surgery. They kept touching under one of my eyes for a long time as if something wasn’t going well, and in the end that side was overcorrected and has functional problems.
