I got double eyelid surgery in Daegu on July 1^^

I went an hour before the surgery time on purpose because I wanted to have a long consultation, hehe, but for that whole hour I just blankly watched TV and went in exactly at the appointment time. ^^;; I was so nervous.. I had thought through all the questions and the eyes I wanted, but when I actually saw the doctor, all I could say was, please just make them pretty however you think is best..^^;; heh Once I got on the operating table, they put on a headband.. applied disinfectant all over my face, and my eyes were trembling, hehe. After a while the doctor came.. and used some sharp-looking thing on my eye line to draw the line.. Then I had painless sleep anesthesia, and really, right after the injection, they counted one, two, three, and my whole body became relaxed, and it was like fireworks were going off around me with lights flashing ^^;;; It felt like I was dreaming. I really had no thoughts, like, who am I? Why am I here?^^;; Those thoughts kept coming too.. I was in that hazy state when the doctor said, "Open your eyes, please," and without realizing it my eyes popped open Then we repeated closing and opening my eyes a few times.. The surgery ended, and there was nothing scary enough to be afraid of.. But the scariest thing was looking at my face after the surgery.. Yesterday my whole face was swollen up so badly, I thought I looked like a monster.. I wondered if only I was like this, and thought I seemed really severely swollen. When I looked at surgery-day photos posted in this community, there didn't seem to be anyone as swollen as me.. When I got home, my entire right eye was bruised. They say time is the medicine, but it's such a mess, sob. For those getting surgery ^^ you really don't need to be afraid of the surgery at all. It's just that looking at your own face after the surgery is the scariest part^^
