Since my first surgery, I could see scar tissue on my left eye, but they said it would disappear once the swelling went down, yet the swelling went down very slowly. I had atopic dermatitis, so I wondered if it was because of my skin type, and I trusted them and waited. I followed up every few months and got swelling injections about 3 times, and around the time 2 years had passed, the swelling on the left still wasn't going down, and when I opened my eyes, it opened less than the right, so the doctor said the eye correction had come undone and that we should redo only the left side.
