I don’t know if it was because the consultant looked too young, but I didn’t feel like she explained things well. She went on at length about so many materials, like donated rib cartilage, autologous costal cartilage, and 3D silicone, and I wondered whether I could understand all that when I didn’t even know what those were. Those kinds of materials are expensive too, so the more I listened, the more I thought I didn’t want to do it here. The director placed silicone against my nose and said that because my nose is crooked, if it’s built up high, it will look even more crooked, and told me to take that into account.
