I had surgery using autologous costal cartilage. But after the cosmetic surgery, I asked the hospital, and they said they reused septal cartilage and ear cartilage in the nasal tip. They also harvested autologous costal cartilage. Then where was the autologous costal cartilage used? I didn’t want it to droop, so I wanted to make it firm, and I harvested autologous costal cartilage because I was going to use it for the nasal tip. If they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage, then was my rib cartilage... Is septal cartilage normally used even when autologous costal cartilage is harvested?
