From day 1 to day 5 after open surgery, there’s just no such thing as swelling… It’s honestly fascinating that having an incision and removing the materials has less swelling and bruising than my first surgery, where I had silicone and ear cartilage inserted with a closed approach. I didn’t even do cold compresses. Is removal usually like this for everyone?
