I kept putting this off because I was too lazy, and I’m only writing it now. I had full removal 6 months after my primary surgery, and my case involved a huge, huge amount of manipulation and materials. Silicone, septal support graft, septal extension, ear cartilage, donated costal cartilage, osteotomy, and they slightly shaved down my hump. When I got my operative record, it turned out they had said the silicone was 2 mm but used 35 mm, and they even used AlloDerm haha. As a result, from immediately after surgery I had various mild inflammatory reactions, so right after my primary surgery I went around like I was mentally unwell.
