I got my splint removed today. I removed the silicone, and since my nose is about 25 mm and the ear cartilage in the nasal tip was showing through, and the silicone was also slightly noticeable, I removed the silicone, removed the septal extension too, and had septal reinforcement done. The ear cartilage in the nasal tip was lowered a little. The glabella got lower and the nasal tip became rounder, so I think it is okay. From the front, it looks pressed down and wide because of swelling right now, but I also had lateral osteotomy, so I am hoping it will become a bit slimmer once the swelling goes down. I am actually satisfied that the nasal tip became lower. Before, it looked obviously operated on From the side, the line may actually have become softer after removing the silicone...
