If surgery was performed without an implant and autologous cartilage was inserted into the nose, if side effects occur later and the inserted autologous cartilage needs to be removed, can the removal still be done easily? I feel like once the autologous tissue that has already been inserted develops adhesions and becomes engrafted, it would not be removable. Is that not the case?
