Since I’m raising a baby, I end up getting hit on the nose a lot. Eventually, the nasal tip cartilage started showing through white. Since I knew I couldn’t keep silicone in until I died anyway, I had vaguely thought that someday the day would come when I’d have to take it out, but I didn’t know that would be 4 years after my nose surgery. Before my nose surgery, I had Hiko. Because of that, I had nose surgery with the skin on my nasal bridge and nasal tip already thinned, and over time, I think the skin couldn’t hold up and got even thinner. I felt it would be too much of a shame to just remove the silicone and go back to my original nose, so while looking for autologous implants, I found that autologous costal cartilage is also hard and has side effects…
