I’m on day 4 after nose surgery and I’ve been doing cold compresses well, but I’m wondering if I should slowly start warm compresses now. I still don’t have any bruising, only swelling, so I don’t know whether I should move on to warm compresses. What’s best in this kind of case? Should I only do cold compresses until bruises show up? And is it good to alternate cold compresses and warm compresses one at a time?
