After plastic surgery, I fell and my nasal septum became deviated, but they say people who have already had septal extension surgery need separate reinforcement. They even say that if reinforcement with the harvested septal cartilage is not possible, autologous costal cartilage might be used. Honestly, when I'm thinking about removal, reinforcing the septum with autologous costal cartilage isn't an easy idea to accept. Since it's septal reinforcement, there could also be a foreign-body sensation or stiffness, and because the work becomes such a major operation, it's a bit scary too.
