Back in 2014, I had nose surgery without really knowing anything and without checking it properly. I thought they had done tip refinement and osteotomy, and for the tip they used septal cartilage and auricular cartilage without using a silicone implant for the dorsal profile. But after I had it removed today and showed photos, I found out that septal cartilage was not used. I don’t know if it was my memory error or the previous doctor gave me wrong information… My main stress point was the pointed tip and auricular cartilage protrusion, and I’m desperately hoping this part will be resolved. I had the removal surgery during maternity leave after giving birth, so I couldn’t just stay still and rest while caring for my baby, which was hard, but I still feel relieved inside. Since the postoperative course is good, I hope I won’t need to come back to this community.
