It’s almost been about 1 month since I had surgery using donated costal cartilage. Until recently, my upper lip had been fixed in place, but it did get a little better. I know this is probably the swelling period, but every time I look in the mirror, I get so stressed I feel like I’m going crazy. My nasal tip is also lifted, so I don’t know if that’s making my philtrum look strangely long or if my nose looks long, but my face looks longer than before surgery. As you can see in the photo, isn’t my nose way too long? From above, it looks even sharper, like it could poke someone. They say the nasal tip will come down once the swelling goes down, but even if it comes down, will that long, sharp nose really get better…
