For 3 days, you have to doze off sitting up, your whole face throbs, and because of the swelling, it feels like your airway is blocked. 2. It really hurts when you wake up from anesthesia. It feels like you came back from the brink of death. 3. I had surgery when my period started, so my swelling is enormous. If I upload photos, everyone will faint. I’ll upload them soon. I’m originally thin and not the type who swells easily... Both eyes, my nose, and my lips are black with bruising... You absolutely must not have surgery when your period starts. 4. Leave home saying you’re going on a trip, then say you got hurt, and stay at home eating well. You absolutely cannot take care of yourself alone. I left saying I was going to a ski resort, then said I got hurt after surgery, called home, and came home after being discharged the next day.
