I had a low nasal bridge, a hump, and a blunt nasal tip, so my nose line had been my biggest complex for a long time I got consultations at several places, and ended up having surgery at Ppully with the method of correcting my nasal bridge with an implant and my nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage. Maybe because osteotomy was included too, at first there was some swelling, and my nasal tip sensation was dull, so I was a little anxious, but about 2 weeks after surgery, it gradually started settling into place. Seeing the swelling go down, I think the line has settled smoothly, and the hump is gone too, so I’m satisfied these days. The bulbous-nose look has also decreased, and my facial proportions feel much more refined, so I feel proud every time I look in the mirror… Honestly, I was worried when they said they would even use autologous costal cartilage, but looking at it now, it was truly the right choice.
