Eye Surgery Considerations

Hit community review

My forehead used to be 8 cm. In terms of facial proportions, my forehead wasn’t too wide, but because there was a lot of empty space at the temples, I always wore curtain bangs, which made the horizontal proportion look shorter and the vertical proportion look relatively longer. I looked cucumber-like. And as I was almost turning thirty, it felt like my hairline kept receding …. So I was debating hairline transplantation, but I don’t really have an M-shaped forehead, so yesterday I freshly had forehead reduction and periosteal fixation with Director Kim Jeong-ho. The original quote was 900,000 won if doing forehead reduction alone, but I thought I would definitely need to add periosteal fixation, so with that added it came to 1.76 million won. Still, the price was reasonable compared with other hospitals. It seemed like he had reduced hundreds of foreheads, and I didn’t really have anything to ask, so the consultation ended concisely. The consultation manager also did not pressure me to book. Because of a scheduling issue, I transferred the deposit the next day and scheduled the surgery. Before surgery, he designed it again. He recommended 1.8 cm considering the midface ratio, but after hearing rumors that the midface trend would come, I boldly decided to reduce it by 2 cm. But I don’t know if 0.2 cm makes that big a difference. It’s day 2, so I still look like Frankenstein, but I don’t have headache, dizziness, or vomiting symptoms. I usually have headaches often anyway, so I’m not even sure if this counts as a headache. They said the crown of the head normally loses sensation and returns to normal within 3-6 months, but I don’t feel like the sensation is completely gone. If I had to describe pain, it’s like having my hair pulled tightly back in a slicked-back ponytail ..? I don’t think it’s quite pain. There’s still a long time before the stitches come out, but I like it …. My forehead got narrower and the empty space decreased, so my eyes, nose, and mouth look a little bigger (even though there is minor swelling). Strangely, there is almost no swelling. There is a little, but I like it … I hope it doesn’t go away … I’ll have to see what the scar looks like around 6 months later. Thank you, Director Kim Jeong-ho. He is really nice …
