In the past, because of a botched surgery, I had nasal implant removal surgery here. I remember having it done with a closed approach, and unusually, I remember having it under local anesthesia. It was probably because I was anxious and wanted to communicate during the procedure and make sure everything was confirmed as it was removed, so I think I requested local anesthesia. At the previous hospital, they used Medpor as a support without telling me, so the remaining ear cartilage, septal cartilage, etc. were removed, but they said removing the Medpor could cause my nose to collapse, so I got scared and chose to leave it in. There is some progression of columellar retraction, and the Medpor is currently still left in, so I am looking into hospitals for removal and revision surgery. This was my fault for not choosing the previous hospitals carefully, so I don’t have any major complaints about this hospital.
