Arm liposuction 8-month review

<Before-and-after comparison>Hi everyone, I feel like a lot of people are thinking about liposuction these days, so I’m leaving this post hoping it helps! I’m absolutely not an ad, broker, etc. I paid for it myself!!  First of all, I’m a normal weight with a BMI around 23, but slightly chubby! I was in that obsessive weight zone, and I had a lot of fat on my arms, but it wasn’t saggy or loose fat. My upper arms were kind of firm and bulky, with some elasticity… But dieting was just so exhausting, and upper arms are one of those areas that don’t really come off with dieting alone.  So I thought, rather than being this stressed, I should get liposuction, and I searched a looooot this winter. But first of all, I’m a student, and honestly the cost was a bit burdensome, so I looked into several clinics and went to the one with the best reviews! Honestly, I don’t really remember the consultation. It wasn’t bad, and in the past I also decided on double eyelid surgery after reading reviews and went in already planning to have surgery, so this time too I went to the consultation already intending to have surgery! But it was expensive. It was 3.1 million won for the entire arms + accessory breast tissue! Honestly, I hadn’t really planned on doing the accessory breast tissue, but they recommended it, saying it would be better to do it, and I thought so too, so I did it together. But I think it’s best to choose a clinic well and do what the consultant and director recommend! If I had asked whether I could skip the accessory breast tissue and only do the arms, I think the director, given his personality, would have said no lol. And after the surgery, I think my arms felt really tight and pulled (until about one month, I couldn’t raise my arms well. More precisely, I could raise them, but they pulled a lot). From around three months, I basically didn’t feel much! In my experience, the major swelling went down by three months, and the minor swelling seemed to go down until about half a year.  But the most important thing is, if you don’t need to lose more weight and only your arm line bothers you, I think you’ll be satisfied right after liposuction. But if you’re currently a bit chubby to somewhat overweight, getting liposuction won’t make you have bone-thin arms or suddenly make your body shape look completely different! It just cleans up the line. One thing I can say for sure is, don’t expect bone-thin arms… To get the look everyone wants after arm liposuction, you absolutely have to diet. The after photo in the before-and-after comparison is after liposuction and losing 15 kg more, down to height minus weight 120… But after losing fat too, I really did end up with bone-thin arms + square shoulders.  I’m satisfied with having gotten liposuction, except for the scars that keep me from wearing sleeveless tops (I’m planning to get scar surgery for this…), and I think I’d do it again even if I went back. But I think my skin quality and body condition were well-suited for it (the director’s skill was good too). If someone has skin that lacks elasticity, sags, or feels weak and lacking firmness, I don’t recommend it! I think irregular hard lumps would probably form… I recommend deciding after carefully thinking about your own concerns and condition~~~~ If you have any questions, leave a comment and I’ll try to answer as much as I can!
