Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

My protruding cheekbones and pentagonal face shape disappeared!

I’ve always had rather prominent cheekbones, so I was never very satisfied when taking photos, and I often thought my face shape looked a bit pentagonal. To be honest, I was too scared to actually go as far as plastic surgery, but while reading reviews, I kept thinking that I wanted to do it. Then I found out about a facial contouring clinic. Since I thought this would be my first and last cosmetic surgery, I wanted to keep researching clinics carefully, and I checked the reviews for that clinic almost every day... lol (If even one bad review popped up, I was going to just give up on the idea of surgery.) After thinking about it for about 8 months, I felt sure and applied for a consultation at the clinic. The consultant who spoke with me was extremely kind, and the director also told me that if I wanted the look I had in mind, I should not do square jaw or chin surgery, and that cheekbone surgery plus square-jaw-area liposuction would likely be the most effective. So I decided on this clinic without doing any more consultations elsewhere! I could tell they were very confident, and I liked that they didn’t use difficult terminology and seemed to be trying their best to help me understand haha It’s now been about a month since the surgery. The swelling has gone down a lot compared with the beginning, and more than anything, when I touch my cheekbones, it just feels like the cheekbones are gone lolololol. I still find it so, so fascinating every time I wash my face. I’m very satisfied because the line seems to have turned out beautifully, to the point where I’m really glad I followed the director’s recommendation and only did liposuction instead of square jaw surgery! I also thought it might be helpful to talk a bit about recovery after surgery, so I’m writing that as well. In my case, the surgery finished faster than the expected operating time, and there was little bleeding. I was very, very worried that I might not wake up because it was done under general anesthesia.. but nothing like that happened. I woke up well, came to my senses right away, recovered, and was discharged. Until days 2-3, I swelled up so much that I wondered, can a person really be this swollen? Then from day 4, the swelling started going down. After the cheekbone stitches were removed at one week, it went down even faster, and from week 2, once the bruising had mostly settled, I just went around without even wearing a mask! I tried to drink pumpkin juice as often as possible, and I think especially keeping to a low-sodium diet consistently had a big effect on reducing the swelling. Trying to walk at least 7 km a day also helped a lot. The clinic also took good care of me, and whenever I asked questions by text, they replied kindly, so I recovered well without major worries. It’s not an easy surgery for everyone, and the process of getting through it is quite long, so I think everyone must feel afraid. But if I may say this, even though I’m only at one month, it’s a surgery I’m truly satisfied with after doing it, so I really want to recommend it!! I already think most of my swelling is gone, but hearing that there is still more swelling to go down makes me even happier lol If you ever feel like you want to have the surgery, I recommend at least getting a consultation at a facial contouring clinic!
