I got arm liposuction at a place in Gangnam that only does liposuction Recently I’ve been looking into facial contouring, and there’s really not enough information I realized you really have to work hard searching online and going to consultations I get anxious when I see side effects, but even if I post, there isn’t a single person who steps up and comments....... I thought maybe the surgery I had could help someone who might get it, so I’m writing in detail as much as I remember... 0. What I was worried about : Recently I gained too much weight, and as my upper-arm fat got bigger, I just looked overall much larger 1. First, my criteria for choosing a clinic lol It was extremely simple. I only joined this community around then too, and had just been lurking a little I looked through another app where prices were listed, and there was a place where the price was cheaper than expected %^^ I immediately sent a KakaoTalk consultation request, and they were very kind and nice I get too anxious if I schedule a consultation date and wait, so I was thinking of having surgery on the same day as the consultation, so I checked whether there were extra fees, paid the deposit, and went (I did see reviews here too about arm liposuction asymmetry side effects) 2. Consultation & cost At the place I went, as soon as the elevator doors open, three people are sitting in a row at the counter and as soon as you arrive, they tell you to go pick up medicine.. On KakaoTalk, they said the doctor who consulted with me would guide me, but other doctors took photos and guided me Even though it was arm liposuction, I only had nipple patches on and wore a T-back, took photos, had a consultation in front of the director, and turned around, and it was seriously so embarrassing (I still don’t understand why you have to take everything off that much for arm liposuction) And with the woman I had the KakaoTalk consultation with, we only talked about money I still really dislike this person The liposuction ad prices shown on the app are literally for doing only the arms If you only remove the arms, of course it looks super weird So they recommend adding areas including accessory breast fat / semi-scapular area / etc. They said it’s essential if I want the “body looks smaller” effect I wanted So I paid 1.5 times more than the amount I had expected and came back haha Also, this woman: I went for aftercare three times, and she never once greeted me then either. Someone for whom money is everything Everyone says it’s fine as long as the effect is good, as long as there are no side effects, and I also think those things are really important, but I think kindness that doesn’t treat people only as money is important If my result had gone wrong, I could clearly see how they would act, so it was really scary Of course it’s my fault for not researching a lot before going!!!!! I just want everyone to know this before going!!!!!! 3. Surgery For this, this place is honestly not great.... Everyone has different standards, and some may think it’s fine, but first, the waiting room and post-op recovery room are usually the same, right Three people use it, and it’s not on the clean side and how should I put it your surgery name and full name are fully public lolololol I was a bit uncomfortable with this... they also asked me to say the surgeries I had before and recited them in front of everyone ** In the end, my surgery turned out well My arm bone structure was originally on the thin side + my shoulders are on the broad side, so rather than feeling like my overall build got smaller, it feels more like I lost a little fat and my arm line got shaped But from the consultation, they said they would remove as much as possible while keeping a natural line!! I’m satisfied because there’s no asymmetry and no lumpiness 4. Scars... This upset me the most It’s the only thing I regret not researching I heard some places make 2 incisions per arm, and some places use small needles so scars really don’t remain I did ask during the consultation, but they said if I used scar cream it would disappear, but ah, not at all There were 3 aftercare sessions, and when I went, I asked the care staff, and they said it would absolutely not disappear ha And my clinic doesn’t even have a scar management system itself It’s been 3 months and I’m applying scar cream, so it has faded a bit, but it’s still there ^^,, I really wanted to tell you about the scars 5. Lumpiness/swelling/bruising : By week 2 I think all the bruising had disappeared. I applied bruise cream a lot lololol every single day, every day I’m definitely an average constitution.. I don’t think my bruises disappear especially quickly or especially slowly lololol And it hurt like my arm muscles were sore from doing arm workouts at the gym It hurt if touched, and if scratched with a fingernail I wanted to die, that’s how it was But once the swelling went down, it was really manageable and okay As for swelling, at 1 month you can see the back armpit fat line go in noticeably And by 2 months, I stopped caring about the upper-arm fat that used to bother me They’re not bone-thin arms, so I don’t have loose, baggy clothes, but clothes that used to be so tight they felt like baby clothes now have some room??? Now it’s completely okay!!!!! 6. Other If there’s anything else I can answer, I’ll answer everything!!!!
