Hello! I’m here with a review of three-part facial contouring at ㄴㅈㅎ~!!
[ Pre-Surgery Stress & Why I Decided on Surgery] First, before surgery, my biggest concerns were my cheekbones and front chin. Because of my protruding cheekbones when viewed from the front and side, my face looked bigger, and since I care a lot about my side profile, my side view was important to me.
Because of my not-quite-an-underbite but underbite-like jaw? my concern was so serious that I had genuinely thought about facial contouring for over 5 years. My chin was like YouTuber (ㅍㄹㅇ)’s chin,,, I think I watched this person’s videos more than 10 times;;
After worrying and worrying like that, I finally did it this time. I thought there wouldn’t be much change if I only did the cheekbones and front chin, so I did the square jaw together too. Since I was doing rotational contouring anyway, I meant to just do everything. My ideal look is Japanese-girl, Chinese-girl style, so I asked them to make the line as doll-like as possible.
[ Choosing the Hospital] For consultations, I only managed to go to ㄷㅇㅇ, ㄴㅈㅎ, and ㄷㅇ,, I wanted to do it as soon as possible, so I got consultations and decided on the hospital all in one day.
ㄷㅇㅇ was a place with previous experience + the doll-like line I wanted + an influencer I like had gone there. ㄴㅈㅎ was where someone I know had gone, and it had a single director + specializes in facial contouring + over 5 years of experience + safety.
I went back and forth between ㄷㅇㅇ and ㄴㅈㅎ, but in the end I chose ㄴㅈㅎ because I thought it specialized in facial contouring + safety. I really worried a lot,,,
[ How the Consultation Felt] First of all, when I had consultations with the director and the consultant, both of them explained facial contouring surgery in detail, and their confident explanations and tone made me decide that I should do it here. I think I could trust it more because it was a hospital specialized in facial contouring rather than a hospital that also does many other cosmetic surgeries.
[ Meals and Care After Surgery] After surgery, I couldn’t brush my teeth, and I couldn’t eat food for 3 weeks? or was it 2 weeks? So I just ate porridge + pumpkin juice for a month. I didn’t eat any other food. Thanks to that.. I lost 5 kg.... After eating only pumpkin porridge + plain rice porridge + pumpkin juice for a month, I lost 5 kilos,,, So maybe that’s why everyone who gets facial contouring becomes prettier,, because you can’t eat proper meals. In the second month, I ate a little bit of what I wanted. Still, I avoided meat as much as possible and mainly ate sashimi + noodles.
Walks,, I did them sometimes.. It’s good to do one hour once a day, but the weather was too hot, so I thought doing one hour every day would be too much. Maybe 3 times a week? 2 times? I’m a homebody, so going out was really so hard,, and since it was summer, it was so hot, and if you go out wearing the compression band, you seriously feel like you’ll die from the heat....
At home, I turned on the air conditioner and walked in the living room for 30 minutes every day... Instead, I did ice compresses every single day!!
And for one month, I went to the hospital every week, and once during the second month, received radiofrequency care and had follow-ups with the director! Because I received care every week and got to see and consult with the director often, I felt more reassured haha.
[ Changes After Surgery] After surgery, I really changed a lot. (Of course, since bone was shaved..) I have a side-profile photo from before surgery, and my cheekbones and jaw have completely disappeared.. That underbite-like thing disappeared, so I’m so happy... Now when I take photos, I don’t edit my face shape at all.. (because it’s pretty even without editing..) It’s still not a complete doll-like line because of swelling, but it looks natural, so if I don’t say it, people don’t know I had facial contouring. No one. I also kept some jawline under the ears,, Like influencers,, my face shape became pretty, so I’m so happy.. I’m truly happy... I originally really didn’t take selfies, but these days I take selfies often too. I live for the joy of seeing my changed face every day..haha
They say swelling can last significantly up to 1 year, so I’m looking forward to it even more.. The major swelling is gone~!! I think some minor swelling still remains
[ To Those Considering Surgery] If you’re worried about your face shape like I was, I think it’s better to do it even one day sooner. I know because I also worried about it for over 5 years. The things people say, like don’t do facial contouring at all. It will definitely sag. I also understand what people who oppose facial contouring say. Your face will droop. Your face will sag and look strange. You’ll regret it.
My thought is that faces sag anyway as you age. There’s no one who doesn’t sag. It’s just a difference in the speed of sagging and how you manage it.
And you only live once. I want to live beautifully. And I want to enjoy and experience that beauty even one day sooner. Rather than getting facial contouring in my mid-to-late 20s, I want to get facial contouring in my early 20s and become prettier.
Being pretty after facial contouring is only temporary? Yes. I want to be pretty even if it’s only temporary.
Of course, lifting after facial contouring is something you naturally have to consider, so even if facial contouring costs 10 million won + @@@ in aftercare expenses, I think I’m okay with it. First of all, the merits of facial contouring surgery are just too big..
I hope only people who think similarly to me do it. Otherwise, I think you might regret it. If you don’t feel confident about affording aftercare costs.. + you’re not that severely stressed about your face shape, then I don’t recommend it.
This review is for a surgery result that pursues a natural-yet-glamorous look.
