To start with the conclusion… my nose really, really became pretty lol!!! Before surgery, my nose was big like Squidward’s, and the hump was severe too The nasal bridge was wide, and the tip somehow looked masculine and large, so I was really stressed… So I thought about rhinoplasty for a long time too I used autologous costal cartilage from my first nose surgery, and honestly, at first I did worry, like, is autologous costal cartilage okay for a first surgery? But Director Choo Sung-chul at D-Day said that because my skin is thick, if I wanted it to look noticeably pretty, we needed to use strong cartilage He said that if weak cartilage is used, it could sink later, so the nasal tip was built with autologous costal cartilage! They say a bulbous nose itself is difficult to correct, and apparently my case was a nose with a somewhat higher level of difficulty than expected.. lol So before surgery, I went into rhinoplasty with the mindset of letting go of greed and just being moderately satisfied lol Honestly, until 2 weeks after removing the splint, I was really confused because of the swelling lol.. I’d think, “It’s gone down a lot?” and then “Less than I expected..?” and my mind changed twelve times a day lol But as expected, time seems to be the answer lol By the 2-month mark, almost all the swelling had gone down and only minor residual swelling remained lol When I read rhinoplasty reviews, they say the final result starts from 6 months, so for now I’m not going to rush and will just keep managing it steadily lol I used to be someone who contoured my nose 3 times lol, but now it looks pretty with just a light touch, so I’m really moved Every time I do my makeup, I keep thinking, wow, I’m so glad I had the surgery lol I worried a lot because it was autologous costal cartilage, but I was told this was the method that could make my nose come out the prettiest, so I trusted them and left it to them, and in the end I’m very satisfied lol I was worried because it was my first time, but now I really think I made the right choice!!
