Eye Surgery Reviews

Incision + epicanthoplasty, 3 months post-op!

I had incision double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty with Dr. Kim Jin-tae at the clinic!! I had surgery on July 16, so it’s been a little over 3 months now haha I had a lot of fat on my upper eyelids and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows was short, so I kept putting it off because I was worried whether double eyelid surgery would turn out well I’m very satisfied with the results.. First of all, the doctor designed the line very carefully! At other clinics, they roughly held the line with a toothpick and finished quickly, but Dr. Kim Jin-tae used a specialized tool? to hold the line and consulted with me very thoroughly for a long time haha That’s when I decided I should do it at this clinic.. And other clinics said I absolutely had to get ptosis correction, but this clinic said I didn’t necessarily need it! <Reasons why I didn’t necessarily need it, and why it might actually be better not to do it> 1. I do open my eyes using my forehead, but it isn’t severe 2. Since the space between my eyes and eyebrows is short, with ptosis correction my eyes could open too wide! and actually look more stuffy -> even if I open my eyes a bit smaller, securing space between the eyes and eyebrows would make the eyes look more open and refreshed The reasons were so clear and convincing that I didn’t get ptosis correction!! I trusted them even more because they didn’t recommend an unnecessary surgery.. I really like it and recommend them!! (The photos after double eyelid surgery are from about 1 month post-op! Now the swelling has gone down more and it looks more natural)
