I previously had double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, lower canthoplasty, and lateral canthoplasty all done, but the epicanthoplasty looks hook-shaped.. and the lateral/lower canthoplasty somehow doesn’t look very effective. The double eyelid looks like scar tissue on one side.. so I want puppy-like eyes. I’m usually the type to have a consultation and get surgery the same day, but I went around for consultations this time! 1. ㅇㅇㄱㄹ They said they would close the hook-shaped part under the epicanthoplasty, like a restoration concept? For the back, there’s no space, so non-incisional.. I’m strongly against non-incisional canthoplasty;;;' From here I got dead-fish eyes and only half-listened to the explanation They would slightly tidy the line on only the left eye non-incisionally. I didn’t even write down the estimate here, so I don’t remember.. 2. ㄱㄹ I saw a separate canthoplasty director and a separate double eyelid director / the canthoplasty director felt like a grandfather next door.. He also told me about a YouTuber he operated on, and the eyes were exactly what I wanted: a little noticeable but wide-open eyes.. They said their lateral/lower canthoplasty method is different from other places, so having no space? No no, it’s possible. They don’t do lower canthoplasty separately, but because the lateral canthoplasty surgical method is different from other hospitals.. it opens together, apparently. I was about to just leave, but I waited a bit more and got the estimate. They apologized for making me wait so long and gave me a discount, but it was still expensive.. If I do it, epicanthoplasty feels like a gamble, so I don’t think I’d do it? Epicanthoplasty axis rotation is possible. When I asked about upper canthoplasty, they said it’s a concept done together with epicanthoplasty. They didn’t say whether there is space at the back of the eye, but they said it can be opened. However, a little conjunctiva may show. This was the clinic I had the highest expectations for, but because of the forehead lift discussion before, my mind was confused and I cooled off The scar tissue at the inner corner of the eye cannot be improved.. They said the inner corner line can be raised a little with non-incisional ptosis correction. The price is too high, so I’m thinking about it;;; and I’d have to decide that same day too.. But the cost crosses the line;;;; It’s full sedation anesthesia, so I’m a bit suspicious. First, I showed them photos of the eyes I wanted, and for the first time here, they pointed out that the eyes I showed were protruding eyes, while mine are deep-set eyes (I know). They checked the possible lateral/lower canthoplasty line and said there was more space than expected! They said they can open it a lot, and that epicanthoplasty restoration to the round shape I want is totally possible But I do think restoration might make it look closed off, though I was so surprised by “it’s possible as you want” that I couldn’t ask.. They said it would be better not to do too much lower canthoplasty. I saw the before-and-after photos and liked them. But they said the under-eye fat repositioning result would come out well only if I dissolve the aegyo-sal filler. If there are fillers or fat, they can’t lower it properly? can’t open it properly? I had previously gotten too much aegyo-sal filler and dissolved it, so I was bothered by the crepey texture, but I thought this worked out. Anyway.. a forehead lift is possible too, but because I had filler in my forehead before and also had fat grafting, they said it wouldn’t lift much. Hmm, ㄱㄹ didn’t say that.. If it’s going to be about the same either way, I don’t think I’d pay a lot to do it. This place seems okay as long as I’m careful about overcorrection? = When I asked, they said they no longer use an overcorrection method. But this place is also insanely expensive almost 6 million won.. I guess it’s all expensive because it’s revision surgery.. I told them I would consult other places too, but the consultant showed confidence that I’d end up doing it at their clinic anyway... I forgot to ask about sedation + local anesthesia and A/S.. The eyes I want are gentle, puppy-like eyes.. and because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is close, I knew it would be hard, but now that I know about forehead lifts, I’m planning to consult more places.. If I do something, it’ll be forehead lift or under-eye fat repositioning, but I need to choose carefully.. But the place that confidently said they could open it a lot and restore the inner corner to a round shape was ㄹㄹ, so if I do it, I might do it there..? It came out much more expensive than I expected.. Please recommend clinics that are good at forehead lifts + lateral canthoplasty too...
