I’ll share my review 8 months after double jaw surgery haha I had malocclusion, so I couldn’t bite food off properly, and my pronunciation was unclear, so it was very uncomfortable every time I talked with people. At 3 months, I had a cold-sensitive sensation in my right cheek when chewing, so it was a bit uncomfortable, but the hospital kept checking it consistently, which reassured me. Around 5 months, the pain had almost disappeared and the swelling had gone down naturally, so my face shape became much more stable. And finally, now at 8 months! There is really no discomfort anymore haha It’s a comfort I couldn’t have imagined before surgery. Now I just need to finish postoperative orthodontic treatment, and I’m so excited because I think within this year I’ll be done with only retainers remaining. Every time I look in the mirror, I feel that deciding on surgery was really the right choice. The recovery period for double jaw surgery differs from person to person, but from my experience, after about 2 weeks, breathing became much easier, and around 3 months, there was almost no major inconvenience in daily life. The fully stable feeling came around 5 months. If anyone is considering double jaw surgery or facial contouring surgery, I recommend carefully deciding where to have double jaw surgery.
