<Before><Before><Before>Hello! It has finally been 1 year since I had double-jaw surgery haha. Since puberty, I had many concerns about a protruding jaw and asymmetry, so I would always hide my side profile or puff out my cheeks when taking photos. As I got older, my cheekbones and jaw stood out more, and the stress became severe, so I eventually decided to have surgery. I consulted at several hospitals, but Director Kim Jong-yoon at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery felt the most trustworthy because of his extensive experience and detailed explanations, so I entrusted the surgery to him. Right after surgery, it was hard because I could only breathe through my mouth, my mouth became extremely dry, and I felt nauseated, but from day 3, the swelling gradually went down and I could feel myself recovering. At first, I only ate double-jaw surgery foods like porridge, soup, tofu, and yogurt, and from month 2, I gradually increased to noodles, soft bread, and so on. After about 6 months, I recovered completely enough to crunch and chew apples haha. Before surgery, I had little facial fat, so my cheekbones and jaw looked even more protruding, but now that I have gained a little fat, it looks much more natural. My parents were also so satisfied that they even said they should have let me do it earlier~ lol. At 7 months, I was able to confidently wear a sharp bob hairstyle that I had lacked confidence to try before, and taking photos became enjoyable too. Now my sensation has completely returned, and unlike before when I was stressed about my facial line, I have gained a lot of confidence. I am truly happy that I no longer need to touch up my face shape in photo editing after surgery. Now that 1 year has passed, I really think I did so, so well to have the surgery~! I am grateful to Director Kim Jong-yoon for carefully taking care of my surgery and recovery, and I will keep living confidently with this face~~!! haha
