This is the hospital that taught me the lesson that no matter what surgery it is, you absolutely have to confirm CCTV clearly during the consultation before having surgery. The director seems to appear on broadcasts here and there a lot, and when I look at comments on YouTube Shorts and things like that, there are comments criticizing the CCTV (like “show the CCTV properly,” etc.). After seeing that, maybe the old way of showing a strange, meaningless 3-minute video that was neither really showing the CCTV nor not showing it has now disappeared again, so I don’t know if there are reviews in this community saying they showed the CCTV right away. Anyway, I had surgery with the representative director, and among the famous facial contouring hospitals I visited (including numerous Gangnam contouring hospitals that properly show CCTV), this was the most expensive, costing in the mid-to-late 10 million won range. It made me realize how ignorant and lacking I was when choosing a hospital. The effect was minimal, and even now, a little over a year later, when I touch my left cheek, the sensation feels strange, like I’m touching someone else’s flesh. (Rather than blaming the hospital for this, I think facial contouring itself is a surgery that cannot have much effect unless you have a certain face shape. But this was the only hospital that said it would be effective for a face that wouldn’t get results. Conclusion: no effect, and I saw other comments saying things similar to me.) The director is kind. He is the same as he appears on YouTube or other media. But surgery and consultation are separate, and if you go for a consultation with surgery as the goal, you shouldn’t place much weight on kindness. You should evaluate the consultation mainly based on the surgery itself, and if you turn a blind eye because you hope there will be an effect, it’s your own loss. They gave me that big realization for 16.5 million won. And additionally, another part I truly felt was a bit problematic was that after surgery, I called to get a follow-up check, and they kept, kept, kept, kept, kept, kept, kept, kept postponing it. I wasn’t talking about a surgery date; I was trying to reserve a follow-up after already having surgery, but they were saying it couldn’t be done for two weeks or something. In the end, it kept, kept, kept getting pushed back, and I think I got an appointment about a month later. At that time, the desk staff or whoever was scheduling the follow-up date over the phone said that if a surgery came up on the follow-up date that I had finally booked after it kept getting pushed and pushed, that appointment could be canceled? They said it like that, so I was seriously dumbfounded and asked again: “I have a reservation now, but if a surgery is scheduled on that date afterward, my reservation can be canceled?” And they said yes hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Then why are you making the reservation? Only the hospital has a schedule and I don’t? The whole reason I reserve in advance is to fit that schedule, but the system was one where a surgical patient has to practically beg, “Please.. please check my progress…” to maybe get seen. Including this surgery, I’ve been on the operating table at least 4 times so far, and aside from this hospital, there isn’t any hospital I think badly of now (even if the surgical effect was absent or minimal or not exactly to my liking). Without any lies, I’m writing only 100% of the facts I experienced. Still, if someone says, “Whatever, I’m going to have surgery at this hospital anyway,” I have zero intention of stopping them, and I don’t intend to say now, “Why did you do that?” But if someone around me says they’re getting facial contouring, I definitely want to tell them about the hospital I went to.
