I’ve had masseter Botox for a square jaw a few times, but honestly, I didn’t feel any slimming effect at all So I thought, “This must just be a bone issue...” and started looking into facial contouring surgery, then went in for a consultation. After the consultation, they said my square jaw bone line was the type that flares outward, so structurally, it would have been difficult to see results from Botox in the first place. After hearing that, I completely understood why it hadn’t worked until now On top of that, my protruding cheekbones were also a concern, so I ultimately decided to get the 3-part facial contouring surgery (square jaw + cheekbones + chin tip). I really liked how the doctor explained everything one by one in such detail during the consultation, and the consultant also really listened to what I had to say during the preliminary consultation, so I was able to feel comfortable and open up from the start. And I had the surgery 2 months ago, and now that a lot of the swelling has gone down and I can clearly see that my facial line has changed, I’m really satisfied! These days, every time I look in the mirror, I’m so excited to see how my face will settle even more from here on.
