Eye Re-Surgery

I decided on revision surgery, and I’m really upset

I decided on revision surgery, but is it really right that I have to pay more???? A family member had severe asymmetry, so I got double eyelid surgery for them. At the first consultation, they marked an outline crease, and I thought that would be fine. It was very expensive, but it was recommended by someone I know, so I trusted it, and because I wanted it done properly, I chose this hospital.. But after the surgery, the sagging skin hadn’t improved, and one side became an inner double eyelid Of course, compared with before surgery, the asymmetry was corrected somewhat, but the eyes are still uneven, and it makes no sense for an outline crease to become an inline crease. At the consultation, I saw the eyes they marked in the simulation and judged that they would make them like that; I didn’t interfere with the surgical method at all. I didn’t even know whether buried suture surgery was possible for someone over 60. (ptosis correction + buried suture + fat removal) We talked about these things and decided on revision surgery, and there was some back-and-forth, but we agreed to do it again with an incision. But they said since the surgical method has changed, we have to pay an additional fee for that. I asked why we should have to pay that. They said they weren’t asking us to pay all of it, but that we should pay some additional cost because incision surgery is a more expensive method. They did say that if we absolutely couldn’t pay, they could just do it, but their tone was really reluctant. They spoke as if their feelings were hurt. I had said things like I trust the director’s skills, but they said it’s more about how sincerely they put effort into it than skill So does that mean if they feel offended, they won’t do their best?? That made me feel even more uneasy. Then they told me to discuss the amount further with the manager, but the manager wasn’t there, so I think we’ll end up talking about it next time. Honestly, I want to get a full refund and have the revision done somewhere else, but realistically I don’t think that’s possible Do I really have to worry about the director’s mood in this situation too Should I just pay whatever they ask? What kind of tone should I use when talking to the manager? I really brought them there trying to do something filial, so I’m so upset that this issue happened
