<Before arm liposuction><After arm liposuction>I used to feel extremely stressed every time I wore sleeveless tops because of my upper arms. As I gradually gained weight, even when I wore short sleeves, my build looked bulky. I used to deliberately hide my arms behind me in photos or rely only on editing, but I finally made a big decision and got arm liposuction.. On the day of surgery, after the anesthesia wore off and while I was wearing the compression garment, honestly my arms felt heavy and tight. As for pain, other than the anesthesia, I didn’t really feel much? Still, the nurses kept checking on me in the recovery room, so I didn’t feel very anxious. In conclusion, the before-and-after difference is clear, and I didn’t have any bumpy or uneven side effects, so I was truly satisfied.. I had it done at a hospital that also provides aftercare, so I wasn’t too worried about lumps or firm scar-tissue areas. They checked for lumpiness every time I went. From the latter half of week 1, the swelling and bruising really started to appear, and like other people’s reviews, my arms also felt stiff and sore from days 2–3. Still, it didn’t significantly interfere with daily life, and thanks to the compression garment, the swelling didn’t get worse. In week 2, the bruising gradually moved downward and became lighter in color, and the line slowly started to take shape. It was still difficult to move my arms widely or lift heavy things, but visually, the difference was already noticeable~ From week 3, the swelling went down noticeably, and people around me started asking if I had lost weight. Even when wearing sleeveless tops, the upper-arm line looked clearly more refined from the side, so the area that had been stressing me out improved a lot. Also, since the accessory breast tissue clearly disappeared, the bulky look was reduced. By week 4, around the one-month mark, my arms were getting close to the “slender, delicate arms” I wanted. As the bulky-looking build became less noticeable, even my overall body shape looked different. When exercising, the stuffy feeling of my arms and torso sticking together heavily disappeared, and I feel proud every time I look in the mirror. In week 5, my arm line became even more natural. At first, I could feel slightly hard lumps, but from this period onward, perhaps because of the aftercare, my arms became softer and movement became more comfortable. I no longer had to deliberately cover my arms when taking photos, so I gained much more confidence. Week 6, I already have no discomfort at all in daily life, and most of the swelling has gone down, so it feels like everything is fully settling into place! Even though I only refined my arms, my upper body definitely looks lighter overall, and it feels like my body shape has changed so much that people around me ask first! What I’m most satisfied with is that clothes fit differently. Even when I wear just a short-sleeved T-shirt, I definitely get a slender, delicate look, so I’m regaining confidence I never imagined before surgery!
