In 2017, I had closed rhinoplasty with 3 mm silicone for the bridge + ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and I don’t have any functional issues or side effects. But as time has passed, I’m disappointed that the tip has drooped compared with the beginning, so I’m looking into revision surgery.. It’s still not bad now, so I’m debating whether to do it again or not, but for revision surgery, do you absolutely have to use costal cartilage? I hate scars and I’m scared
푸핫하핫 Usually, revision surgery often uses costal cartilage. I chose autologous costal cartilage because I liked it, even if I had to accept the scar.
찌니 They say it’s not absolutely required, but it seems like costal cartilage is usually used I’m also having revision surgery, and autologous costal cartilage does feel reassuring, but I’m scared it’ll feel stiff and hurt.

브런치오믈렛 I went to a place that also has an ENT department, and they said people with firm upper ear cartilage can use just that! But I do think it probably won’t look pretty..
