As you can tell from the before-surgery photos, these are eyes that had already gone through double eyelid surgery once You can see the unevenly set lines and that the ptosis correction was not done properly Originally, I had no double eyelids at all and my eyes were much smaller,,,,, After surgery, it wasn’t like the swelling went down and the line came undone right away It really loosened gradually.. Still, I thought it was my fault Like maybe I rubbed my eyes too much, or did my makeup too harshly as usual, etc. I blamed myself, but after going around for consultations, it turned out the fixation just hadn’t held.. It had already been done years ago, and the clinic where I had the double eyelid surgery no longer exists, so I couldn’t get revision surgery there or aftercare, so I started looking into revision surgery and booked a decent place and had surgery I had incisional double eyelid revision surgery and ptosis correction revision surgery, and also had lower eyelid fat repositioning at the same time Since I did all three together, of course the swelling lasted a long time.. I’m the type who swells a lot even just from eating ramen, so I was prepared for it but I was surprised because the swelling lasted longer than I expected after surgery.. Since it was an incisional procedure, I knew the major swelling would last about a month but even until the 3-week mark, the line was thick, so I was really anxious that it might settle like that and turn into sausage eyes.. But once it reached one month, it got a bit better and gradually settled into place.. I was just too impatient because I was scared it would fail again Come to think of it, even during my first surgery, the major swelling lasted over a month Back then I made a huge fuss, but thankfully this time I didn’t.. The line fixation goes without saying, and I didn’t even think about lower eyelid fat repositioning; I just did it because it was recommended but I found myself wondering why I hadn’t done this all this time I didn’t know the difference would be this big.. If I had known, I probably would’ve done it earlier.. The cost did come out a bit high, but I’m satisfied,,,,,,
