I had closed rhinoplasty twice, each at a different hospital, and this time I’ve booked an open rhinoplasty, I’m seriously shaking. When I had the closed procedures, neither time did they even put cotton packing in my nose, and they only taped it without a splint, so I’m scared of panic from the packing, hematoma, and bleeding after the stitches are removed..... I want to run away from reality lololololololololol Has anyone had both closed/open rhinoplasty?? Please let me know if the swelling or pain is very different For reference, this time they’re using autologous costal cartilage ㄷㄷ, silicone, and ear cartilage
빵울이 But I really don’t know why people do closed rhinoplasty. I think for the nose, it’s better to do it properly with an open approach. These days it doesn’t seem to leave scars either.
