It’s been quite a while since I got liposuction without telling anyone, so I thought I’d leave a review as a 15-week record. I got liposuction on my arms + back. My arms were a revision surgery, and my back was my first surgery! If I covered up with clothes, I wasn’t exactly on the chubby side, but my upper arms and back fat were especially thick. I had surgery on my upper arms 2 years ago, you know? Back then, a lot of fat did come off, but the line was uneven and the extra fat on the inner upper arms didn’t come off enough, so unless I said something, people couldn’t even tell I’d had liposuctionㅡ_ㅡ At first, I thought it was swelling... But as time passed, both arms looked asymmetrical, and when I wore a sleeveless top, one side looked more spread out, which bothered me. After thinking about it for a long time, when I got back liposuction this time, I had surgery with the goal of cleaning up the extra fat on the inner arms and smoothing out the bumpy areas. People who have a complex about their upper arms will know Upper arms make the whole upper body look heavy and bulky No matter how much I exercised, the back fat wouldn’t go away. I only wore loose-fit clothes because I was worried the folds of fat under the bra line would show through my clothes. I was anxious, wondering if it would turn out well this time, but since I still had lingering regret about my arms, I thought, “Let’s go somewhere that will definitely take it out!” and got it done one more time. On the day of surgery, I had it under sedation anesthesia. My mind felt foggy and dizzy, my arms didn’t move as well as I expected, and my back was also very stiff. Because of my situation, I went alone without a guardian, but I rested enough before leaving, and even after taking the subway home, I was okay. When I got home and lay down, it hurt in a throbbing way, so I naturally ended up lying face down. I could move slowly, but I could barely raise or stretch out my arms. The compression garment wasn’t as tight as I expected, but it was uncomfortable whenever I moved, so I kept tossing and turning while sleeping and had a hard time. Since it was a revision surgery, I wondered if the bruising and swelling would be worse than expected, but in my experience, they went down better! Until week 3, there were still hard and lumpy areas when I touched my arms, but I could clearly see that the fat on the inner arms had been neatly cleaned up. Maybe because of that, when I wore short sleeves or a sleeveless dress, my arms looked less spread out than before, and the sleeve area had a bit more room!! Still, around this time, you have to be careful when lying down or leaning. It differs from person to person, but I had some discomfort. Time really does pass~~ Once I reached 1 month, there was nothing uncomfortable in daily life, and I could lift my arms about 85-90%, so washing or tying my hair was easy. At this point, there was a slight pulling sensation inside, but I kept wearing the compression garment as the clinic instructed, and after getting laser, radiofrequency care, cryotherapy, and Velody lifting, it definitely got better. Also, if you eat less salty and spicy food, the swelling definitely goes down better. Eating things like tofu, soy milk, salmon, and beans is good for your health and helps swelling go down well lol When I wore leggings or workout clothes, I could feel that the inner arms had gotten slimmer. When I look at old photos lol, my arms used to be thick like straight tubes, but now the shape has settled naturally! What I noticed after getting back liposuction too is that I sweat less lol. Every day, the area under my bra band used to get damp and covered in sweat, but now there are fewer folds of fat, and the back line feels neatly cleaned up, so I’m full of confidence about my back view lol. I’ve also heard a lot that my back view looks pretty.
