It's my 16th day after a buried revision, and because my surgery date had to be postponed, it's been 7 days since I started taking the medication. Could the meds have even a little effect on why the lower-eye swelling (the eye bags) is not going down well? I take the pills around noon, but by around 5 p.m. the swelling is even more swollen 😭 No way—even for a buried revision, why won’t it go down like this? During the first surgery there was almost no swelling, and I hardly had fat in the eye-bag area, so I never imagined the eye bag would swell this much;ㅂ;
단발ㅁㄹ Sounds like it depends on the doctor’s skill… the more it’s touched/handled, the more swollen it gets, right?
i냥이 [@단발ㅁㄹ] Is that how it is? I only redid the line with buried fixation, but I wonder if raising the line a bit also had an effect… In the afternoon it feels like I’m lifting/holding my lower-eye area up I’m doubting whether it’s really going down at all 😭😭
단발ㅁㄹ [@i냥이] I couldn’t tolerate it, so I took it off… But I was already a fatty-eye type from before, and since people here tend to have less fat and didn’t even swell much after the first surgery, this might not be my case. I looked up a lot, and it does seem that the closer it gets to the eyebrow and the stronger the fixation sensation, the thicker it gets.
i냥이 [@단발ㅁㄹ] Since the line was raised, it got closer to the eyebrow, so this effect likely matters too. I’ll monitor a bit longer. Thanks so much for sharing!
냠냠념 Because of the line lift… I also raised the line by 1mm and did buried fixation, but the eye-bag swelling was as much as during the old incision surgery. Time is the medicine. Try exercise that makes you sweat a lot, like running. It goes down a lot at night. But when I wake up, it’s still like those full puffy patches are sticking on the eyes again
i냥이 [@냠냠념] So yes, raising the line has a pretty big effect. I hope the ‘time is the medicine’ line also works for me. Every time I look in the mirror, I really end up doubting whether this is truly swelling or actually going down. Thanks so much for the tip!!!
