For my first surgery, I had silicone inserted, had my hump shaved down, osteotomies done, and used septal cartilage for the nasal tip. I’ve been fine all this time without side effects. At some point my nasal tip started to droop, and even though I was more or less satisfied, I kept living with the thought, “I want to get my nose done again.” Lately, straight-with-a-slight-curve noses keep looking so pretty to me, and it just so happens that next month is a time when I can have surgery and take a month off, so I’ve been going around for revision surgery consultations. I didn’t have any side effects from my first surgery either, and I’ve had quite a few different surgeries, but I’ve never once had inflammation. In that case, would the chance of inflammation or contracture be lower if I get revision rhinoplasty? After joining this community and also joining a Naver side-effects cafe, I read way too many posts, so now I’m really worried about side effects. I’d have to spend around 8 million won too, and if things go wrong after spending that much money, I think it would be seriously depressing.
밍키곤듀 Oh right, I’m going to use silicone and autologous costal cartilage. Since there’s a possibility the nasal tip could show through, auricular cartilage is being added too..
달방이 Your tissue seems like it responds well to plastic surgery, so I think you’ll be fine. Just make sure you meet a good surgeon.
보키나무 With revision surgery, the possibility of inflammation goes up.. My first surgery had no problems at all for 10 years too, but after the revision I’m going through hell..

gasdafgasd I also recovered insanely fast after my first surgery, had no problems for over 10 years, and normally had good immunity too, so I did a revision because I wanted a better shape, but I got side effects. If you don’t really hate your nose right now, I’d recommend just living with it. With the nose, the more you open it up, the higher the chance of side effects gets.
