I had incisional double eyelid surgery 8 years ago, and although there is a line, it does not fold along that line and instead folds along the line I had back when my eyes were originally tiny.. Even after double eyelid surgery, I had to keep putting strength into my eyes, but maybe because I lived always looking down with my eyes when looking at my phone, and lifting my chin when looking at things so I would not have to put strength into my eyes, one side came undone
