Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

2 months after facial contouring, I think I did well getting the surgery

This is my 2-month review after facial contouring (zygoma and long-curve square jaw + buccal fat removal + masseter reduction + cortical osteotomy) at 345~! When taking photos, I was always so stressed about how wide my face looked from the front, and even after losing weight, because of my prominent cheekbones and jawbone, the area under my cheekbones looked sunken and my face turned into a peanut shape, which was also stressful. So I decided to have surgery, and the reasons I chose 345 among them were that it felt very different from the factory-style hospitals I went to, the director had a long career, and while watching YouTube and blogs, I felt he was someone who specializes in facial contouring surgery. The fact that there was an anesthesiology specialist and CCTV made me feel safe with no worries about proxy surgery. During the consultation too, the director recommended a natural yet highly effective method rather than excessively cutting the jawbone, and I really liked that reducing fat and muscle together could create a bigger effect from the front!! After surgery, now the stuffy feeling behind my eyes from the protruding cheekbones has improved a lot, and my overall impression has changed to a softer feeling. My mom saw me and said my neck looked longer than before, and even friends around me said it looked like I had lost a lot of weight and asked what I did lol Until I told them I had plastic surgery, everyone asked me what facial procedure I had done. As of 2 months now, I’m extremely satisfied, and when I look in the mirror, my changed appearance still feels like a dream~ I especially love that the front-view effect is big. I’m looking forward even more to how it will look as the swelling goes down further from here. Oh, trying to remember what it was like right after surgery, on the first day, the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, so I was out of it, don’t remember well, and it hurt, but on day 2 my face became very puffy and the pain felt like it was gradually going away. From day 5, the bruising started to fade little by little, I could take light walks, and some sensation started coming back to my face. At week 1, after removing the stitches around the cheekbone area and receiving swelling laser, the swelling settled more, and after week 2, once the intraoral stitches were removed, I definitely felt my jaw gradually opening a bit more! After a month passed, I could eat food to some extent, and while doing warm compresses and mouth-opening exercises, it opened little by little and I was able to recover. Also, as the nerves gradually recovered, I did have some throbbing and tingling pain. Now at 2 months, I can open my mouth to some extent like before, and the swelling has gone down much more than before, so I’m starting to feel increasingly slimmer. When I touch the surgical areas, a lot of sensation has come back too! Oh, another good thing! They did skin care every time I visited, and the interior was very cozy and comfortable. When I went home and touched my skin, it was soft, and when I took photos, the skin texture looked better too... Then I’ll end this very satisfying review here!
