It may not look that noticeable in the photos, but in person, my face was really chubby. I was often told that my face looked big because of my facial fat. I was a bit scared because it was my first time looking into plastic surgery, so I was considering getting a procedure instead, but two acquaintances had liposuction surgery, and after seeing their results, I immediately changed course to surgery. They had their surgeries at different hospitals, but both were satisfied and recommended their hospitals to me. Including those two places, I went for consultations at one other place, so three clinics in total. Overall, they said I had a lot of facial fat and that my face would only see results if I did muscle tying as well. But I didn’t trust places that just looked at my face and casually said, “Do this,” so I didn’t get surgery there. At Saegim, they checked everything down to the fat layer with ultrasound and explained it to me, so I had it done there. It was also the place where my acquaintance had surgery. Satisfaction ☆★★★★ Maybe because I had been stressed about my facial fat for a long time.. right after surgery, my satisfaction itself was high. Because of the swelling and hard lumps, moving the muscles in the lower part of my face felt awkward, but still, unlike before, my chin fat didn’t fold, and my jawline looked different. For men, I think there’s a big difference between whether the jawline shows or not. But I’m not yet at the one-year mark, so I’ll revise my satisfaction rating again then. Would I recommend it to people around me? ☆☆★★★ This will probably depend case by case, but if facial fat is your biggest source of stress like it was for me, it may be okay to do it. If not, I recommend trying dieting first. In my case, even based on my stats, my facial fat would not go away no matter what, so that’s why I had surgery. I feel like that’s why my satisfaction is higher. And if your skin is sagging like mine, satisfaction with surgery is high. Recovery period ☆☆★★★ To give a very personal TMI that may only apply to me.. recovery was tough. I work from home, so I usually don’t move much, and while wearing the compression band, it felt strangely suffocating. Also, I heard that if you wear the compression band incorrectly, it can affect the scalp a lot, so honestly that bothered me too; I think men will all relate. Apart from that, the swelling and bruising themselves weren’t that bad. As I said earlier, I also saw results quickly. After surgery, whenever I uploaded photos, a lot of people asked if I was a different person.. lol I really think that if you get facial liposuction done properly once, you can see a strong effect, almost like facial contouring.
