I got facial liposuction around the time the summer heat was easing, and time really seems to fly. Looking back now, I don’t know why I worried so much before getting facial liposuction! Maybe it’s because I got not only facial liposuction, but also double-chin thread lifting, nasolabial fold Ultracol, square-jaw Botox, chin-dimple Botox, temple Botox, and Dermotoxin for the entire face, but I feel like I saw really good results. I went to a lot of consultations, and I had it done at the place I felt most drawn to and liked the consultation the most. Other clinics recommended double-chin muscle tying, but this place didn’t over-treat and said facial liposuction and thread lifting alone would be enough to give good results. I had other procedures done together under sedation anesthesia, but I was surprised that there was less pain than I expected and that it didn’t hurt. Even though I had all sorts of things done, I think it took about 1 hour? There was recovery time, so I rested well in a private room before going home. In the beginning, I didn’t receive any separate aftercare and just wore the compression band diligently. Maybe because I got thread lifting together, there was no sagging, and the scars were barely noticeable, but after about a month? they were completely invisible. People who work worry a lot about swelling, but I didn’t swell much more than expected, and I think minor swelling took about a month. After that, it seemed pretty similar. It may be because they did the facial liposuction well, but it’s maintaining so well that I’m really extremely satisfied! I’m glad I didn’t do contour injections or laser procedures like Ultherapy or Thermage for the facial fat I was worried about. Thinking back to when I also had a lot of double-chin fat, I feel like I made a really satisfying decision. I don’t have to worry about gaining the fat back, and the maintenance period is semi-permanent, so I’m more satisfied with facial liposuction than other procedures!
